Terms & Conditions

Purchasing travel services offered by JAPAN LAND TOUR constitutes a contractual agreement between you and PT JAPAN LAND TOUR. Please ensure that you carefully read and understand these Terms & Conditions before ordering. If the person making the Booking is doing so on behalf of one of the parties, then that person shall have the authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all parties and be responsible for ensuring that each member of the group is fully informed of all details of the Reservation.

Tour Package Prices, Bookings & Payments

Book a private tour by making a 20% deposit.
The deposit is non-refundable unless the trip is canceled by JAPAN LAND TOUR.
Participants must pay all travel costs no later than 30 days before the departure date.
Private tour orders made less than 30 days before the departure date must be paid in full.
Tour package prices are based on the number of participants registered at the time of booking, prices may change if the number of participants increases or decreases.

Cancellation

When you cancel your reservation, the following fees will be determined on a per person cancellation basis. You will be responsible for any charges incurred when you cancel your reservation.

More than 30 days before departure : the deposit you paid
30 - 7 days before departure: 50% of the tour price
Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the tour price

Cancellation By JAPAN LAND TOUR

In the unfortunate event, when JAPAN LAND TOUR has to cancel your Japan tour, we will refund all amount paid to JAPAN LAND TOUR at the time of cancellation.

Refunds

Unused airplane, train and other transportation tickets and accommodation are non-refundable.
If the prospective tour participant is unable/sick before the scheduled departure date, the refund/cancellation fee will refer to the cancellation clause.
If there are services in the package that are not used by Participants due to absence or illness during the trip, Participants are not entitled to demand a refund.
For tour participants who are not allowed to enter or are subject to deportation by the immigration of the local country (even though they already have a visa), or who are refused by the airline, or on the way suffer from illness, or have a mental disorder, or on the way have an accident, they are forced to returning or deviating from the trip that has been determined in the tour program, or forced to cancel part/almost the entire trip after departure, are not entitled to a refund or any other form of return for services that have not been or are not used.

Tour Cost Included

Private Transportation / Private Car

Private Transportation / Private Car (Toyota Alphard, HiAce, Microbus, etc.) is included as specified in each itinerary. Costs included include:

Indonesian or Japanese speaking driver, accident insurance, 8% tax, 10 hours/day tour usage, fuel, toll road fees, parking fees, driver meal & accommodation costs.
If private car use exceeds 10 hours/day, an overtime fee of JPY 10,000/hour will be charged to you.

Travel Companion / Tour Guide

Travel Companion / Tour Guide is included as specified in each itinerary. Costs included include:

Tour Guide in Indonesian, use of 10 hours / day of tour, costs for meals, transportation & accommodation for Tour Guide

Public Transportation / Public Transport

Public Transportation / Public Transport (Subway, bus, shinkansen, etc) is included as specified in each itinerary.

Attraction Tickets / Admission / Entrance Fees

Attraction Tickets / Admission / Entrance Fees are included as specified in each itinerary.

Meals / Meals

Meals / Meals are included as specified in each itinerary.

Accommodation

Accommodation options as specified in each itinerary. Definition of room and bed:

Double Room : 1x double bed (140cm)
Twin Room : 2x twin bed (120cm)
Triple Room : 3x twin bed (120cm) atau 2x twin bed (120cm) + 1x extra bed (100-120cm)

If the accommodation listed on the travel itinerary is not available, accommodation of another level will be replaced without prior notification. JAPAN LAND TOUR does its best to provide up-to-date information, but is not responsible for inaccuracies, changes in detailed descriptions or facilities, or images provided by third parties.

Changes of Travel
JAPAN LAND TOUR will comply with the itinerary as accurately as possible. However, we cannot predict the future and we never know what will happen in Japan. Therefore, the final arrangement of the tour plan will be determined by the local driver/tour companion based on local circumstances that are beyond JAPAN LAND TOUR's control, such as traffic, weather, natural disasters and incidents at sea, fire, and breakdowns in machinery or equipment , acts of government or authorities and war under local conditions.

During local or national holidays, certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours, and shopping may be limited or unavailable. JAPAN LAND TOUR will do our best to provide alternatives whenever possible in the event of a change in itinerary. See the Unused Tour Feature Refunds Section for more information regarding attractions not used as a result of schedule changes.

Tour Costs Not Included

International or domestic air tickets.
The cost of making travel documents such as passports, visas and others.
Personal expenses such as mini bar, telephone, room service, laundry, additional meals outside the trip, and other personal expenses.
Additional tour (optional tour)
Tips for local guides, local drivers, tour leaders and hotel & airport porters with general and recommended numbers.
